Crossing Cultures: Lecture Poster
Nasser Rabbat is an MIT professor, architect and historian, who came to lecture at the American University of Beirut. Under the guidance and art direction of Reza Abedini who personally selected me for this project, I designed this poster in which I merged various architecture plans belonging to different periods of history to literally show the crossing of cultures through the practice of architecture. I chose to limit my color palette to black and white as well a rich shade of ochre to highlight some elements from the building plans. The informational layer was introduced with great care, in a way that compliments the visual architecture of the poster.
